Oak: Great for flooring, but also wonderful as hearths, furniture, railings, picture and window frames. Did you know oak limbs make a great looking railing system?
Cedar: One of the most used Adirondack tree species, cedar has been used for projects ranging from hearths, trim and doors all the way through building entire homes. Saunas, railings, stairs, furniture, shelves, etc. If you can think of it, you can make it from cedar. Give us a call.
Maple: Another great and traditional flooring material. Maple also makes a great cabinet material. Tables, chairs, bookcases and other items are all available. We can even trim out a window or door. Maple also works well for railings and stairs.
Long-lasting durability and beauty characterize these species. Flooring, cabinets and countertops are all potential uses. Have you considered framing out a built in bench seat with Beech or perhaps a hickory table?
